Please note: Before the 1990's people were pretty much uninformed about health insurance. Except, that you could visit any clinic or hospital and have the state pay for it. Any private insurance someone had, was just regular insurance that covered most of everything and most people who had it never made a big deal about it. People still continued to eat sweets and it didn't matter who made then as long as they tasted good. In those days death scared no one because the focus was on dying happy and not fearful and they weren't too picky about their health insurance either. A doctor was a doctor, plain and simple. The struggle began after 1990 and when those worldwide illnesses began to affect people in a way that it began to cost the state, private insurers, companies and of course people. When people began to lose their healthcare coverage due to job loss, or illness, or if the employer did not offer any; that was when healthcare became such a huge debate. Now, it's on the minds of everyone because people need health insurance for themselves and their families. Most of all people want things to be discussed privately and not have their name in one of those huge databases when collecting health data.
With the advancement of low cost airplane and cruise ship travel many people go to exotic and thrill seeking places. Sometimes just for the hell of it. And upon their return they give the WHO(World Health Organization) and centers for disease control lots of work to do in diagnosing and finding a remedy if not a cure for different strains of diseases that people develop upon returning to their country. It's difficult to say what should have been done about a disease prior to knowing it's existence. Travel has been around for years especially from ships that left New York many years ago to pick up workers in Africa to help develop a land we currently live in today. Despite the rather sour conditions of angry and violently hostile and abusive bosses, many of those native African workers survived despite the long travel and challenging weather conditions. In modern day, we still have to work for somebody and amidst all the travel and conditions present today, there seems to be more and more viruses that are affecting people. Bats, mosquitos and animals such as monkeys are said to be the cause in such factors for diseases that have developed and continue to exist without prevention or eradication of.
A herb or plant called the plantain has many uses. It is considered an anti-toxin and it's seeds and leaves have anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory aspects to them; that can be used to remedy many illnesses and can probably be helpful for fevers, infections, coughs, bug and wildlife stings or bites. Yes, I advise that you consult your physician or herbalist to make sure you can use plantain leaves if you have other medical conditions or take medications that might interfere with that of a plantain herb or leaf. However, the plantain leaf may be useful in reducing fevers and other symptoms associated with bites, stings from bugs or animals or even parasites through contaminated water, body fluids, food and animals. Mmmm, a bowl of this served up just right to
the senate would probably be just the thing they need to raise the minimum wage to $25 an hour!
Well, it has to start to spread somehow!
