Hand sanitizers can be used anywhere and at times in place of soap and water. Although sanitizers are used to rid the hands of germs that can be transmitted from object to object; they certainly do not replace soap in that soap will remove dirt and grime buildup.
Because the air is unclean and poor circulation does not assist in removing bad air and replacing it with good air, we need something that removes germs. There is a disinfectant still on the market today, but in the 1920's, 30's and 40's was widely known for its use with regard to feminine cleaning. In those days there was something special about cleaning up after somebody's elses mess, a real wifely attraction. I mean come on, if you didn't do it then somebody else did- the problem here was that the spouse or others around you didn't want to be reminded of it. That disinfectant went on to fame and fortune in nooks and crannies elsewhere inside of homes and offices around the world as it also removed germs and odor. Air quality affects the health of people because of temperature, humidity, ventilation and pollution. These factors can expose people to illness resulting from molds and harmful chemicals that develop or are released resulting from poor air control.
If we continue to use disinfectants in order to rid rooms of bacteria and germs that spread cold, flu viruses and pneumonia; inadvertently another problem of toxic exposure would create other problems to ones health. This is because of the ethanol contained in the disinfectants. Another approach to the solution of keeping medical offices, homes, restaurants, and other establishments open for business is to use products that are environmentally safe. Sure, they have to combat the problem in preventing the spread of the cold, flu, norovirus, rabies, hepatitis, TB and other harmful viruses, bacteria and fungus. There needs to be the development of a room antiseptic spray that is non-alcohol based but is just as effective in the elimination of viruses and germs throughout the air. The room antiseptic is used as a spray and just like hand sanitizer it cleans the air without spreading harmful toxins. People wear sunblock to prevent the suns rays from causing harm to their skin. Hand sanitizer is not applied throughout the body, so other areas can be affected resulting from harmful air. The room antiseptic is sprayed throught the air to eliminate germs, bacteria and viruses and can be used just as often as hand sanitizer without causing toxic harm over long term use. It is usually what is on the outside that becomes harmful inside. Since of course, during those visits its what's on the inside that counts, it may be helpful to eliminate the harm from outside first!
