Monolaurin is a monoglyceride that is probably considered to be one of the original antibiotics. Which is probably because the milk got spoiled before the bread. Yes, those high deductibles can not only make you lose your appetite but if the bread is no good them you can probably use it for something in the future in a medical sort of way. Another form of monolaurin comes from coconut oil, vitamin supplements or even breast milk. I'm trying to keep the factory abuse down somewhat so that people don't think they need to be equipped with tubing and other essentials that generate milk to be used in the form of a supplement that can be freeze dried and have a long shelf life ect. Monolaurin is known and used as a result of it's toxic and disease fighting properties. It is considered for use with as an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. When you consider what one supplement can do it may be helpful to have around so that in the even you have an issue you may want to carefully try it. Like anything else there needs to be mentioned a caution regarding the use of monolaurin. The Herxheimer reaction can occur. They why take the stuff? Well, to be truthful, the Herxheimer reaction can occur with a number of medications although your physician may not inform you that your reaction to a particular medication or injection is what's actually causing it. The Herxheimer reaction is when a person is being treated with supplements or medications and pathenogenic micro-organisms begin to die off as they are being killed with whatever medication you are taking. As these pathenogenic micro-organisms die off in large numbers, the body naturally releases endotoxins that our bodies must also get rid of. If the body becomes overloaded by endotoxins, the body reacts by having a reaction which could be anything flu symptoms, rashes or other problems. The Herxeimer reaction as this has known to become means that the treatment is working. It is also called the die off or the healing crisis. So you may want to take monolaurin in very small amounts if needed and you should talk with your herbalist or physician if you are on other medications. Lauric acid monoglycerides can be found in the body(breast milk) as the body converts it to monolaurin. Perhaps there should be testing available to determine the presence of it, so that maybe one day lauric acid can be used to determine illness or the severity of it regarding diseases and other disorders that people may be born with mentally and physically due to the immune system impairment. Then maybe if medicine decides to go east, or the individual decides to do it themselves, lauric acid can be introduced to the body in attempts to repair the immune system damage, which may help the body mentally and physically in terms of deficiency.
