With the new health care insurances that are being offered to everyone in addition to the higher rates a fine will be imposed if health insurance is not purchased, regardless of whether or not the government chooses to pay for a qualified individuals subsidy. Ok, so the government is guilty of misleading the public. I say this because, the affordable care act would have created insurance plans at "attractive" rates; because of the government subsidy that everyone who makes under a certain amount according to the poverty rate is entitled to a tax credit amount according to their annual salary. As you are well aware the marketplace was created but has yet to fulfill it's so called intention on providing affordable health care. This means that the government saves money because they have rejected qualified applicants by not approving the subsidy and they will make money from the qualified applicants that they have rejected based upon imposing a fine that increases each year if they do not purchase health insurance.
Can this be considered a demonic act?
Yes, because if a person qualifies for health insurance subsidy according to their income and then by enrolling online through the marketplace, and thus being rejected; and therefore not being able to receive any subsidy that they are entitled to- what is the intention of the affordable health care act? If one must purchase a health insurance plan outside of their state's health plan marketplace then they are subjected to the lowest tier plan available and will still have to pay more out of pocket regarding: premiums, deductibles and copays. This is because the government acts in neglect of in providing subsidies to those who need it and by making people who are unable to afford the total cost of a health insurance plan pay more money for it. I then ask how does this affordable health care act live up to it's intentions on paper? It does not. If people who qualify are then rejected because of a $30 dollar difference in monthly premium for a self pay plan without subsidy causes the government to say, you won't really starve at least not to death, just get the bronze plan and stop asking us for money to buy health insurance. The government by doing this has caused people who qualify for subsidies but have rejected them because of a $30 dollar monthly premium difference to pay $3,000 more for their health care per year resulting from the government not providing what they should or supposedly intended according to their paper law of affordable care. It is the government subsidy that absorbs the deductible or premium amount according to which plan you purchase eg. platinum, gold, silver or bronze. If something is going to cost you more then for lots of people it is not affordable. So without the government subsidy, a person will have to pay the deductible and the higher premium which would be starving a person not out of just $30 each month but by including $3,000 a year resulting from the deductible that must be paid out before the insurance you are paying $300 a month in premiums pays for anything. I say this is a demonically raw deal. The government will try to shake apples from the trees for a real comparison of who wants to depend on the government as opposed to who wants to be independent or self-sufficient. But this is an inappropriate apples to apples way of doing so. How's about creating decent paying jobs including benefits for educated people. But government beware, do not eat any of the apples that you have shaken from the trees. So much for the affordable care act on paper!
