Now, think of that nice and relaxing vacation you went on to a far away country to engage in all sorts of fun and adventure. You visited tombs, deserted places, heavily occupied creeks, and have shared the same public rooms or outhouses as thousands of others without complaining because you are on vacation. The fact that the people you were around folk that didn't look too clean was no faze to you whatsoever because hey, you did not have to work at a crummy job all day. You see all of these interesting places and really learn nature and sometimes the nature of others. Hey, if the world were perfect, how many people would be underpaid or working minimum wage? Would there even be a minimum wage? I will let that be another topic. Anyway, you get ready to leave to go back to civilization and regular everyday life, and you arrive at the airport to notice that a few people have developed coughs. Although, you are not feeling sick yet you become fearful because you cannot take anymore days off if you get a bad cold because you have used them for vacation.
Meanwhile, you get on the plane to go home and notice a few coughers get on the plane as well. They continue to cough periodically throughout the flight. You arrive home and several days later find out that someone you were on the plane with became very ill with a respiratory illness and others have been infected as well. You then notice that you also begin coughing and begin to feel ill. "Could this have been prevented?" you say to yourself.
Certainly precaution could have been taken. Although it, it may be illegal to expose health information about a person. There needs to be an understanding with regards to the safety of other passengers on a plane, train or bus regarding contamination and the exposure or transmission of viruses between people. If breathalyzers were used on airplanes to check for respiratory infections related to viruses such as MERS, SARS, Coronavirus, Legionella, MRSA ect.. Once a breathalyzer is used to determine abnormal levels of carbon dioxide in the lungs by low oxygen saturation or intake; airlines could protect more passengers from becoming ill by providing hand sanitizers, and face masks to prevent the spread of the virus by coughs, and unsanitary conditions.
People who arrive back to the states from a foreign country would be discretely subjected to a breathalyzer test. This breathalyzer would be disposable and turn from clear to blue when it detects abnormal levels of carbon dioxide and low levels of oxygen saturation. All passengers would then be given a face mask and hand sanitizer . This breathalyzer alert will have those with results indicating that there is something wrong to consult their physician, especially if they are feeling ill. Many people wait too long and the illness can become fatal if you do.
Make your trips or vacations at least a round trip one-instead of one way, by using the disposable breathalyzer today!
