Moving Furniture

I'm almost sure of it. Everyone has about 2 to 3 very muscular males in the family who are able to bench press 300lbs with ease. Whenever you need furniture to be moved, rearranged or you have the need for some thick practically wall to wall heavy ass carpet to be laid, after of course you covered a room with new furniture; then these are the guys you call to help you with this favor. No problem, big buffed dudes like this in the family are just waiting to help you with things like this.
When this is not the reality, many people indulge upon thinking of imaginary family in that they feel a person about one fourth the size of these people can do the same work.  I guess somewhere, you might be thinking, don't buy it if you can't pay to have it installed! You're probably right. People who make purchases and feel they can save by installing it themselves need to rethink what they are getting themselves into.  Of course, of course, you and another petite person carried heavy furniture up a narrow staircase more than twenty years ago and joked while doing so. Now, you need all of your energy and can barely talk while doing so. Now many years later-nothing is so funny anymore.

There are many types of furniture apparatus and movers on the market. Which is great, but the problem here is that you pay just as much for them as you did for the actual furniture you just purchased.   What is needed is moving apparatus that people can afford and can use to do certain jobs themselves.

The battery powered dollie and furniture lift:

This four wheeled industrial built mover can be adjusted to move bureaus, dressers, tv stands, carpet and anything else you place on it.  How does this work? Lets say you have a bureau or a dresser, if there is room underneath the dresser or bureau you can simply slide the dolly in and raise the height of the dollie so that it rests comfortably under the furniture. As this is done by remote control, the height of the dollie can then be locked into place and you can then move your furniture in any direction you need to. Please note: you can manually adjust the length of the dollie to accomodate a longer piece of furniture. Once this is done and you have your furniture where you need it then you just lower the height of the dollie with the remote control and remove the dollie from under your furniture. The battery powered furniture lift is for furniture that lays flat to the floor thus preventing you from placing a dollie underneath it.  The furniture lift glides under your furniture and raises automatically by remote control it so you can now put a dollie under it so you can move your furniture.  To position the furniture on the dollie evenly you can lock and unlock the wheels manually or automatically, so that the dollie does not move while you are putting the furniture on it.
The dollie can be adjusted to accomodate long and wide furniture and has furniture blocks to prevent the furniture from sliding off.  These padded blocks slide out and prevent the furniture from moving from the dollie.  There is also an automatic converter mover, that is optional.  What in the world is this? The converter mover is a moving mechanism, similar to what the checkout counters in stores use to transport food from one end of the counter to the other. This conveter mover can be placed onto a staircase (it is made of aluminum and adjusts like a ladder you use to climb to paint a house with but is slightly smaller- it folds for easy storage). With the press of a button you can move the converter up or down, thus saving you energy and strain since the converter is moving the furniture up or down heavy steps for you. For saftey reasons it's best to have more than one person when moving heavy items and the automatic converter has slow speeds so that all will be well with the furniture and the person moving it.

Now with my salary, I just have to be able to afford furniture!

Calcifications

When discussing calcifications, it is important to mention the potential of hydrogen or pH.  This is because the lower the pH number is, means that your body is subjected to more acidity or less oxygen; and the higher the pH is means that your body is more alkaline and thus is getting the necessary oxygen.  For a body to exist without disease it should have an equal balance of acid and alkaline. This in numbers means this: the pH ranges from 0-14. Anything below 7 is considered acidic and anything above 7 is considered alkaline; a pH range of 7 is neutral and to have a blood ph range thar is slightly above 7 is ideal. Cells in the body cannot survive if a person has a very acidic range.  If the body is very acidic it is unable to detoxify harmful metals or toxins, repair damaged cells and absorb nutrients.  In this instance of the body not being able to prevent disease, tumor cells will grow. Cancer spreads in an environment of high acidity acid and low oxygen.  People with cancer have more acid in their bodies than people without.  When a body has cancer it is catabolic because the acid is causing the body's cells to die; in the anabolic or healthy body cancer forming cells will die off.  Since blood has a negative charge on the outside and a positive charge on the inside the blood cells are prevented from clumping together.  When you have a high acidity, this removes the negative charge from your blood cells and once that occurs the blood cells begin to stick together.

What does this have to do with calcifications?

Calcifications in the body occur when there is high acidity. The acid in the body can thicken fluid in the body such as in the breast, coronary arteries and brain. This affects how the body absorbs oxygen, therefore oxygen metabolism in the body is not functioning properly. Inflammation
also causes calcifications. Because the acid binds together with body fluid during oxidosis and thickens the fluid, oxygen is unable to flow freely.  When oxygen is reduced and acid exists in high amounts disease results because of the low oxygen flow and high acid prevents new cell growth and repair along with removing toxins from the body. When microcalcifications are present, they can be a cause for concern since a reason for them in the body can be due to high levels of acid; which could also mean that cells in the body are not getting enough oxygen and therefore a probable cause for disease.

What to do?

If you were given a diagnosis of calcifications and high acidity levels you need to change your diet and as always consult with a physician regarding foods and supplements that can be taken to reduce the acid levels in your body eg. corn, tomatoes, honey, vinegar, avocados, grape seed extract, green tea and lemons. Castor oil rubs or packs can be used for ridding the body of toxins that can result from the lack of oxygen.

Yeah, it all started when life was only a drag!  But ,as they say it's what's on the inside that counts,
you can have your pH levels checked during a urinalysis test. Hey, not everybody at once. There are home testing packets available. I'm not advocating an empty doctors office, I still need a reason for working where I work.  I just want a balance between a cause for concern and when there's nothing wrong.

Waste Stethoscopes

People throw away things they can no longer use and things that are designed to be discarded after use.  I'm not talking about the old clothes and electronics or games you had as a child because that can easily fit into the category of collectibles.  One may question what are collectibles doing in the garbage anyway unless of course you have a fear of sentimental value and the potential of one day making money from a valuable collectible?

Bins more Bins and dumpsters are being used to throw away huge pieces of waste or junk and a lot of it.  Garbage trucks are one of the most mercyless things I have seen on this earth. It is probably because they are large and monsterous as they mash and chop up anything that gets placed inside.  Garbage trucks do what they are designed to do and that is to crush and compile garbage without regard to the value of what's inside.

In creating and using machinery that has the potential to harm human life there needs to be somewhat of a preventative measure that provides garbage truck operators the capacity to salvage the living that may be placed inside a truck as a result of being placed inside of a  bin or dumpster.  A garbage truck compacts garbage to be recycled or thrown away and the people who operate such machinery empty whatever bin or dumpster they encounter on their route. Trucks need to be made to acknowledge human life as well as humans need to put themselves in the situation of not wanting to be compromised by a garbage truck.  Sounds morbid and absurd- I agree.

The point of this article is this: Garbage trucks need to be equipped to notice when living beings are placed inside.  The electronic waste stethoscope is a highly durable stethoscope placed inside the compaction area of the garbage truck. The stethoscope uses an electronic sensor to transmit sounds of heart and lungs to a computerized software device-the stethoscope receiver that scans for living sounds and life.

How does this work?

Do I have to think of everything?  First several stethoscopes are placed inside a garbage truck that occupy the left, right, upper, lower and inner back of the garbage truck.  Since the stethoscopes are electronic one does not need to handle the stethoscopes in any way except for routine maintenance. The actual device that interprets the sounds is the stethoscope receiver that has software that enables one to listen to each stethoscope independently or select which ones that you need to listen to or you can select all of them.  For optimum use you select all of the stethoscopes.  You turn the stethoscope receiver on as  this also enables the stethoscopes. Of course you choose all of the stethoscopes for audio and video(video in this instance means that the stethoscope receiver will show heart and or lung signals, if there is a presence of a living being).  The stethoscope receiver is placed inside the truck where the drivers sit. Why? Because garbage trucks make so much noise that the garbage men with the standing room only area on the back balcony of the truck have enough to worry about.  They ride  standing on the back of a truck with no seatbelt or harness to protect them in instances where they can slip and fall in to traffic. Please take note: they are not doing this as the only truck on a countryside farm somewhere in the midwest.  So there is very little room for error.  Sure they wear the neon, but they still have ride issues that they need protection from; sudden stops, bad weather and reckless drivers. So we don't expect them to monitor the stethoscope receiver as well.  As the garbage collectors dump bins and dumpster remains into the garbage truck if there is a sign of a living being the stethoscope receiver will immediately display where the signal is coming from along with an alert so that the garbage truck is stopped from compacting garbage until the living being is removed. Future development of the waste stethoscope will have it work in conjunction with the compaction portion of the garbage truck so that once an alert is shown or sounded the garbage truck will  automatically be prevented from compacting until the living being or the cause of the sound is investigated and removed.  There will be a manual override in the event of stethoscope or receiver malfunction. In that instance the truck should be repaired and garbage should be checked manually by a portable waste stethoscope.

The waste stethoscope- not everything is garbage!

Pericardial Effusion

9/6/2012

In Chinese medicine the pericardium is considered the sixth yang organ.  The pericardium is the covering between the heart as it protects the heart from external pathogens.  A pericardial effusion is the result of fluid buildup between the heart and the pericardium or pericardium cavity.  It is normal to have a very very small amount of fluid in the pericardium. However, a pericardium that contains fluid consisting of 100 millimeters to appx more than 2 liters of fluid is considered abnormal.

A pericardial effusion can be caused by inflamation of the pericardium. This occurs because inflamation of tissue in the body ect. produces excess fluid. As a result of the excess fluid that enters the pericardial cavity, the heart is under extra pressure to function because it is surrounded by too much fluid; because the pressure of the pericardium cavity or sac greatly affects the function of the heart since the heart is surrounded by the pericardium.

The human body has over 150 fluid-filled sacs where inflamation can occur. The circulatory system, lymphatic system and the kidneys are all responsible for maintaining the proper amount of fluid in our body.  The skin also retains water so if there is injury to a particular area swelling will result. When vessels, tissues and organs in the body are inflamed, blocked or damaged, fluid retention is the result because that particular part of the body is no longer able to function normally and creates fluid around it.  When one has weakened valves in the veins and blood is not able to be pumped back to the heart water retention may result.  If a person has low albumin levels(albumin is an abundant blood protein) then fluid is retained. Protiens in the blood hold salt and water inside the vessels so that fluid does not leak out into the tissues. If the liver and kidneys are affected then the absence of protien in the body will cause the vessels to malfunction and fluid build up will result.

Since diseases, viruses, bacteria, injuries, and other health related illnesses can cause the pericardium to retain and buildup fluid as a result of inflamation from one area of the body that has spread to the pericardium it is important to take care of your heart and the blood vessels in your body as this affects the heart. Please note: if you are a smoker  you are damaging the cells of your coronary arteries and other blood vessels and other parts of your body also. If your vessels become damaged resulting from the lack of protein which will result in the inflamation of sacs or cavities that can become inflamed due to fluid build up.

Remedies for pericardial effusion include the following: Vitamin C as it decreases inflamation, Coenzyme Q10-prevents heart muscle damage, Vitamin A- if your inflamation resulted from a viral infection. Supplements like Hawthorne-prevent hardening of the arteries and Cimicifuga and Cactus are also for treatment for pericarditis. Please consult a physician or herbal specialist before taking  any of these vitamins or supplements.  Water buildup is only good for water beds. Even rivers have their limits so let's not have to cry one over this. Oops, that includes body fluid too and you can't have too much of that either!
