We need to do what makes us happy. I do believe that is when we put in the most work and not worry about how much money we will earn. Of course we need to live and earn a living wage but when you do what makes you happy there is for the most part a feeling of satisfaction that as long as you are able to care for yourself, one does not complain about money as much. I think that the choice of a career should be up to the individual who will be doing the job and not up to one who asks "How was your day?" Think about it, what do you expect for an answer if one does a job day in and out that he or she despises? Do jobs grow on us? This is a problem in thinking that you can fit almost anyone into any career. If one cannot go anywhere else in the company except to sarcastically be given all the work to do then the job is pretty much dead end or at some point you will outgrow it. Now, I remember a day when there were more choices for employment and many of those jobs have really gotten high tech or high travel by going overseas. Some jobs are difficult to compete for especially if you went to school at a time when technology was at the novice level. Now, it's true that that would have been the best time to get in to that job or career but the jobs were few because there was not too much of a demand since computers or devices like them were not in every aspect of our lives. Now, many, many years later the careers in this area are available, but it would be nice to have them broken down in school format so that an online education system can teach the course so that almost anyone if willing to learn can do that type of work. It would be great if the same institutions who offer medical, pharmacy and law programs begin to offer computer science courses online, so that one could learn what it takes to write programs, if that is such an interest or hobby. The thing here is that when careers price us out the door(When a company will only pay you so much), then what does one do? Yes, you make it a hobby and work on it as though you are earning a living. This makes more sense, because the other jobs are limited in how far you will go and how much you will make, so you might as well do something you like as opposed to something you won't.
I suppose there could be many other things to talk about. But I'm not really bothered about my age. Years ago it was a thing for a woman not to tell of her age and considered rude if someone were to ask it. But now more and more people are becoming health conscious and that is reducing the oxidative stress that is put upon the body. Oxidative stress is an imbalance between the antioxidants and free radicals in the body. When these free radicals are out of balance they damage DNA, proteins along with fatty tissue in the body. This causes they body to develop diseases and is what causes the body to age. This is because the free radicals do a lot of damage to the growing cells in the body by causing impairment to cellular DNA. Once the body has a mutation of harmful DNA it begins to age and one's health will decline as a result. I'm into supplements because the fast and processed foods that are made honestly cause our bodies to age quicker than we would like them to. My regimen really started as a way to keep from getting hungry because I did not have money to eat lunch. So I calculated how much I would need in a months time to eat and I found that by taking supplements that I would save more money because they were a lot cheaper(when bought in bulk) and used on a daily basis. This meant that I only spent a few dollars a day for lunch by consuming these supplements, and therefore didn't have to go worrying about being hungry because the supplements helped me throughout the day. I still continue my regimen to this day because salaries seem to not include what it costs to eat these days, but the supplements last over a period of time and can save on the average of two meals per day. Eating can be quite expensive. So I tell my age and let people think what they want because in a few more years if I'm too old to work perhaps they will allow people to retire without penalty in collecting of social security. Really, if the job market has a problem with my age or becomes discriminatory with regard to it- people should be allowed to collect their social security because they would then be unable to find jobs or employment. So tell your age, yay!
Why is it that only immigrants are seen as "dreamers" in this country? It is as if some biased person who was out for their own personal interest and belief along with other people, took the MLK speech of "I Have a Dream" and turned it into a "Wade In The Water" mission for some. Honestly, where was the equality all citizens of this country. I'm speaking in adult terms because unless you're trying to reclaim your time you don't tell or imply to a fully grown adult, who did get an education to stay and mooch off of their parents, to rectify equality or equal treatment. This to me was simple regression, due to the fact that progress was halted or stalled due to the second class citizen treatment. Another way of say this is that second class citizens had to create their own opportunities for success or job satisfaction since they would not be accepted among the foundation of companies already established because such people are viewed upon as second class. If you ask me honestly, I think the whole civil rights movement was made a mockery of by using immigrants and the outsourcing of jobs to "reclaim the time" by keeping slavery ever present. Now if that isn't paranoia, insecurity, immature then I don't know what else is. Supremacy is usually to blame because these people are preoccupied with the sacrifice of others that do not look like them, so immigration is just the tool that is used to take the dream and provide it to others so to speak. You can't hate on an immigrant because they want freedom just as anyone else. The supremacist usually then creates a society of slavery within mom and pop parameters, so that one can do a tedious job day in and out, without too much assistance, as they exclude the second class citizen from other types of employment. Which is really pathetic because, you know as well as I do when working around certain types of people if they have any imperfections that challenge or affect the Aryan psyche, these people usually don't want them around, hence that means that's why they put them around the second class citizen. Which means that in terms of modern day slavery these are the jobs these idiots created. I can go on and on about the misery I went through in working for a doctor's office, but I will save that for a creative day. The question here is that once people make it ashore, or when things go belly up, recession, depression, inflation, due to the lack of spending etc.; will the government become upset or have a cow at the second rate citizen for trying to obtain money to eat, and have a place to stay and clothes to wear and transportation to get to and from? Why should they be? I mean, they gave all of that and then some to the immigrant and did not get upset and imply to go and stay with their parents. I get it, the second class citizen is in this country to work be it second class due to bias and the immigrant is put ahead of them to create oppression among the second class citizen. But if one wades too long, due to the reclaiming of time, the second coming is a dish served cold...
I like to use the word job because career to me is when you do something you actually choose instead of someone else choosing a job for you. I mean, don't you hate it when someone picks a job or livelihood so to speak for you as if they are doing the job themselves. Sure, it's easy for them because they don't have to do that job. Why do people think they know someone so well that they have a person do jobs that are not in their best interest, somewhat abusive and not to their liking? This means that you are probably doing a job for someone else. Like a duty or sacrifice, yup this sucks because not only are you being deprived of several things a career should provide for you, you are also doing a job that you don't like and being in a place you don't want to be, and one's happiness becomes of question. But if someone truly cared, why would they constantly make you unhappy? Then again, I answered my own question, it was to make someone else happy and to of course sacrifice. They great thing about a temp job is that you get to work at different places so you don't get bored as easily as you learn different things. If you dislike the people the job is not permanent so you don't have to worry about some forever in contact or keep in touch thing especially when you plan to ditch the people once the job ends. The not so good thing about a temp job is that you may not be on an assignment that is regular or long term, so if work is not constant or daily your will your income will be affected. You can only collect so much unemployment, so it would probably be best to find permanent work, so that at least you have a job to go to versus only working when a job becomes available. Permanent jobs used to provide benefits but to save money along with doing a sacrifice, things like vacation time, personal days, retirement savings, health insurance are not always provided, so does it matter anymore if one works temp or permanent? Who knows, if employers or business do not wan't to pay the rising cost of minimum wage then they will not pay for days off. Usually, smaller companies are the worst to work for because they do not have to comply with many of the laws and they are usually the ones who have the worst disposition towards their employees. So stay away from small companies especially if the job is permanent because there are usually no benefits associated with working for one. Permanent is best in a larger company, and those smaller ones are only good when doing temp jobs.
They say when it ain't broke don't fix it. True, true, but here's the thing when you need to try avoid being broke you need to get that side hustle on in order to try and get something for retirement. American sees most people as lazy and those who don't do good. So we don't want to contribute to the years afterwards of working. I've said this before that I get the reason why retirement has become a non issue in the workplace due to the fact than an employer does not want to provide money or subsidy when one is not in the office. What is really "nonsensical" is that they barely pay you enough when you are in the office or what is known as living wages. Now, what does this have to do with reinventing yourself? Well, one has to establish a sort of happiness within this horrible world whereby laws against workplace cruelty are for everyone and not just for some and people need to be protected from those who have hostile religious convictions. Yeah, now if that were done, most of the stress would be removed from people in the workplace. Although, there are those evil people who become upset when they feel people aren't working enough-so they walk around angry all day, but if we were to measure their religious convictions we would find a bias in there somewhere. Reinventing to me has to do with being able to live in a world where I can still be me or pursue what ever thing or passion I want to pursue while still working or being at a job to provide an income subsidy for myself. This takes time and a lot of effort considering that one spends just about one half of a day working, traveling and getting ready for and being at a job that does not pay very much. Yes, reinvention is necessary because one needs to be happy within and hopefully one day that hustle of invention will provide for retirement years later. It's a difficult thing to try and do but one just needs to find their true self and not be that person or being that one wants to make a religious conviction of cruelty out of in the workplace. I found that reinvention of myself establishes me as the person I want to be instead of being that person someone wants you to be, despite someone remaining in their religious convictions or stance regarding cruelty or purpose in the workplace. If you're only existing for what someone wants you to be then you probably won't make yourself happy. So there is work and then comes their reinvention of self so that one can do and be happy with all there is with what they wanted to do in life before people had a meeting with the minds and wanted those to 'mind clear' by implementing cruelty in the workplace by using hostile religious convictions and other forms of cruelty to establish an agenda towards a type of person. Yes, reinvention is necessary because it is the balance of cruelty and abuse these things happen to be. Reinvention is the mother of necessity...
