Lyme disease is caused by the bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi. This bacteria transmits itself through deer ticks or animal ticks that contain Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, these ticks are usually found in wooded or grassy areas. Lyme disease can also affect other areas of the body including the muscles and joints. These symptoms can be misdiagnosed for multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. The brain and the nervous system can also be affected. This can cause depression and other psychiatric illnesses. The bacteria, Borrelia burgdorferi can be transmitted in congenital ways from mother to unborn child. Lyme disease has also been found in semen and cervical tissue, this is because the bacteria can survive in many organs throughout the body since it can affect them also.
If someone has been symptomatic for a long period of time of time and misdiagnosed as to what is causing the health problem, testing for lyme disease and presence of it in one or more areas can confirm its diagnosis. That is if you do not develop a rash called bulls eye or known as Erythema Chronicum Migrans, which is an obvious indication of the disease. Lyme disease is just one of many tick-born diseases. Currently, there are hundreds of Borrelia burgdorferi strains that exist. Since lyme disease can affect more than one part of the body it can be a chronic disease. Lyme disease was first reported in the late 1970's which hardly makes it an accessory for crimes of a confederate nature. Why heck, wooden areas of shacks and sprawling grassy plantation acres have been around for a lot longer than that!
In order to prevent lyme disease or to at least offer some protection from the bacteria of Borrelia burgdorferi when going outdoors or traveling to areas with tick-borne diseases there needs to be a lyme disease block lotion. Lyme disease block lotion consists of: witch hazel, artemesia annua, ginseng, echinacea root, elderberry and red root. Just combine the witch hazel and the herbs together and apply to the surface of the skin. This should help the body by preventing bacteria from ticks from entering the bloodstream. Always consult a herbalist or physician if you have skin disorders or are taking medications that may interfere with alternative supplements. With so many illnesses from just a tick, and then being ticked off this should be as common as antibiotics-which will then help with the old ticker!
