Computer apps are everywhere phones, laptops and tablets. There are those of us who would like to integrate their computer programs into an app, but that process becomes much too complicated due to the current app generating software that is currently being used for android, ios and windows. What seems to be the problem? Glad you asked. Each and every app developer software has it's own user interface that allows the programmer or app developer to create and design the app by creating the visual layout of the app. By this I'm taking about the text and buttons that you would see and use to select something or one that will allow you to input information. In the user interface area you would design the "text view" and other buttons, pictures ect. that you would want to be included in the design of your app. For some of us as we are decent programmers in that we enjoy that java and can write programs for a myriad of things, the issue becomes-we need a way to create app making software that enables the computer programmer to use java or any of the C languages ect., to be able to do the following: have the developer put their java program into an android app developer program and then have that program take that java program and request the developer to create the visual layout based upon the way the computer program is written. What???? Ok, let's do an example: Handroid is a app development software. What is unique about this software is that it can take a computer program done in almost any app making language eg. java and prompt the app developer to create a visual user interface known as the app for that computer program. So the app making software would work like this. The developer would either write the computer program in the text or program view of Handroid or they can import it into Handroid. You would then select create visual interface. After you do that Handroid automatically selects the text areas and user input areas or prompts of your already written program and will then allow you to create text boxes, buttons in the palette section of Handroid that allows you to create the app features and import pictures ect. and select different prompts based on your computer program. This flexibility within Handroid allows the programmer a more direct and less cumbersome way to create an app or user interface for the computer program. Another way of understanding this is what I call computer programming adaptation. What???? Ok, enough! A computer program is a script that needs to be brought to the screen big, medium or small. You see where I'm going here. In order to do that the written script or program needs to be adapted for the screen. Handroid allows the computer programmer to now take his or her computer program and based on the text, user input ect., the developer can now create a visual adaptation for the program. Isn't that wonderful-Hello World! Handroid then integrates the two together making an app inclusive of program and user interface, you run it and adjust things as needed and then select create app, and then follow the prompts for which you want your app to be used and all is great, maybe not in the world but for your program. Please, someone allow such flexibility in your app creation programs. It's one thing to create a computer program but to then create the app using the current app creation software on the market is somewhat complicated. Handroid is the solution to such problems, because you can now create a user interface based upon your computer program in one neat app creation software because for each and every line of a computer program Handroid prompts the developer, regarding the visual or user interface.
Tumors that develop in the heart are called cardiac tumors. These types of tumors develop in the valves of the heart and are considered rare. Tumors that spread to the heart are considered secondary tumors because they are spread from cancer in another part of the body. This means that the tumor did not begin in the heart itself. Although many cardiac tumors are benign sometimes malignant cardiac tumors occur as a result of other types of cancers such as lymphoma, mesothelioma and sarcoma. Lung cancer can also spread to the heart. A type of cancer called angiosarcoma is considered aggressive and consists of abnormal blood vessels or cells that are cancer cells usually located in the right atrium of the heart. This causes an obstruction in the right ventricle and pericardial tamponade as the cancer causes metastasis in the lungs. Other types of sarcomas include: liposarcoma, histiocytoma, osteosarcoma, and fibrosarcoma occur in the heart's left atrium and mitral valve problems result in heart failure due to these types of sarcoma. Lymphomas of the heart can cause SVC or superior vena cava syndrome and sudden cardiac enlargement. The superior vena cava is the major vein in the body that carries blood from the head, neck and upper chest and arms to the heart. When an obstruction or blockage of blood flow occurs, this is usually caused by a tumor, aneurysm or malignancy. Treatment for the removal of such tumors most often requires heart surgery or even robotic surgery. Brachytherapy, may be a way for patients who develop cardiac malignancies to avoid surgery if they are people who are unable to undergo surgery due to many other health problems. Brachytherapy involves the use of seeds or radioactive implants used to shrink and dissolve the tumor. The great thing about brachytherapy is that if the cardiac tumor is malignant and is spread from another tumor or cancer in the body brachytherapy can be used to remove existing tumors that are located in other parts of the body besides the heart. The brachytherapy implants can be located near the tumor in the heart and used in a low dose capacity in attempts to shrink and remove the tumor and also assist in removing cancer from other parts of the body. Cardiac brachytherapy can be used for high risk patients who otherwise would be unable to undergo surgery to remove cardiac tumors that have spread to the heart. Having a big or enlarged heart can not be so good, brachytherapy can make the heart just the right size!
The problem with purchasing or leasing medical equipment such as ekg, echocardiogram or ultrasound machines is that within a few years the machine becomes obsolete. Ok, it does still perform the necessary functions but as the machine gets older you may not be able to update it's software so that it can be used for newer, or more advanced studies and testing. Yes, you could probably trade it in and get a few dollars towards a more sophisticated purchase but within a few years you will have the same scenario. Buying or leasing medical equipment is costly and you really have to have the proper equipment for the job, in that if your office is one that requires accreditation then you have to be able to have equipment that fulfills testing requirements. Each and every year technology changes and improves upon itself. A medical office and it's equipment must keep up with that technology so that they can continue in the practice of medicine. The PC or laptop has evolved immensely. I just think that there should be more of a market in selling PC's or laptops configurable for medical offices and for testing. What do I mean by that? Well, it's quite simple. Most PC's, laptops or tablets can download or use web based software needed for their medical office. This enables medical staff to do precertifications, referrals, check claim and payment information and of course electronic medical record applications or EMR, in that now a patients chart is electronic and accessible via computer. So when you go to purchase a computer you look for one that will allow you to do the basic office functions as in buying an everyday computer. Computer companies usually sell computers based on business, pleasure or personal. Just like car insurance. They used to sell health insurance that way. Things got pricey. Anyways, computer companies generally have categorized computer sales and interests in basically these categories. So it was no wonder that a computer was never developed to access web based or even downloadable software for echocardiograms or ultrasounds. These types of software usually need faster processors ect. in order to be able to do these types of tests. Another PC or laptop category that should be considered is medical. Just like different types of transportation. Why aren't more companies developing web based software for echocardiograms,even if the software is made to be downloadable? Requirements change and then that color flow doppler that was once the rave now becomes a panoramic view measurement for stenosis patients or else your office will be at risk for losing accreditation, then you will need to have the equipment necessary to afford such a requirement. Or you can say "No mas" and send them all to the hospital and let them worry about it because hospitals are always getting state of the art equipment and renovation upgrades. Small medical offices have to consider these things, since budgets don't always apply to rental cars. Transducers or ultrasound probes need to be usb so that they can be used on a PC or laptop ect.. Medical offices need computers that can handle echocardiogram and or ultrasound software. In doing so the software is less expensive and since the transducers or probes are universal usb, they will also become less expensive and this will help a small medical office with expenses as a result. The worry about outdated equipment and ever changing requirements that affect medical office testing or procedures will be considered-obsolete.
You call but there is no answer, yes you leave a message but you wait and wait for someone to return your call. You become anxious because of the care coordination that must be provided with each and every physician or specialist you see. Then, you really, really begin to dislike the front desk or rather the people that work there. Why aren't they answering, why don't they do the things that are requested of them? The medical world has become very complex and patients who dally around until that last pill or the day before really do not help matters any. I know you probably love or even like your physician more than you do your spouse which would answer why you walked out of a lengthy appointment you had with the doctor without informing them of the medications or other things you need to take certain tests you regularly go for. Then of course you become social with the front desk due to each and every thing that could have been done during your visit. I know life can be unfair and the patients make that all known by the way that they treat the front desk like a bunch of servants in some ways. There are people who cannot do for themselves and because of that they need assistance, but this is directed to those who are able to do for themselves and just decide not to. Then of course these things and requests occur simultaneously as if they can be done that way. Being underpaid and overworked is usually a reason for some things not being done just as a lack of competence, laziness among other things can affect how things are done or not done. The front desk people are not mean people some of us are just not "people people". I would like any EMR vendor to offer a solution of the virtual receptionist. We really need those phone lines to start going into the EMR. What good is that going to do? Well, let's see it will motivate a patient to focus on what they need like several medications to be renewed, and an appointment to go along with it. The talk, talk, talk and other things that really prevent a day from going smoother than it should would be eliminated. The virtual receptionist can then automatically task medications and schedule appointments. The front desk will be responsible for checking all calls that come into the EMR for accuracy and to make sure that each task is completed. The virtual receptionist will take a message if a patients needs to speak with a physician or they need the front desk for something else. A monthly EMR fee will be paid by the physicians office for the virtual receptionist add on. With a medical office full of bills and more bills does not have to worry about sick, personal, vacation days, overtime, 401K plans-retirement, health insurance or the other things that employers feel that servants are not entitled to. The front desk is very busy, precertifications referrals, labs, office accreditation requirements, chart maintenance, preparation, office maintenance ect.
