Yo-Yo Medical is a facility with only a few employees. The medical world has changed tremendously especially since the 1990's. Computers are used for most everything and certification or accreditation for many specialties or areas of medicine have been implemented; to keep physicians and medical staff current with medical techniques, procedures and requirements as they evolve. Yo-Yo Medical received notification that their office must comply with a medical office accreditation so that patients can use their facility for medical visits and other testing. The letter is rather detailed and includes stuff that seems too involved. The doctors want to close the office as a result because of the mounds of work that is involved just to keep them accredited for a few years. It seems as though no one in the office understood the letter and what was required of it. An employee from Yo-Yo Medical told another worker from All-In-One Medical what happened. The worker from All-In-One Medical looked at the letter and then said, "Here is your problem?"
"What?' replied the worker from Yo-Yo Medical. "Your physicians seem to have a problem in breaking things down to their molecular level. With all the chatting going on no wonder they want to close up." said the worker from All-In-One-Medical. "We work." said the worker from Yo-Yo Medical, "They are just asking for too many things." The worker form All-In-One Medical looked at the worker from Yo-Yo Medical and said," When I say break it down to a molecular level I mean that your physicians are not looking at what is being requested and delegating work according to the components of what is required. For instance a lot of this stuff here is policy implementation, our office of All-in-One Medical completed our accreditation several months back and as you can see our seal of approval is on the office below the name. If you would look here a lot of this nonsense is administrative work, it is just requesting office policy or rules as such for the testing and services you offer. The accreditation website has some examples. You should check them out. They were somewhat helpful in assisting with what was needed." The worker from Yo-Yo Medical began to understand the worker from All-In-One Medical. Then the worker from All-In-One Medical said, "The other part of the accreditation requirement is the technical component. Girl, they can't expect you to complete that part because you are not a physician or technical personnel in that specialty. Any physician having been educated in this and completed very many tasks or procedures should really know how to do this." "Then what is this here, doctors don't maintain books or logs and I'm a front desk gal. I ain't got time to be recording results and other particulars in patient testing." said the worker from Yo-Yo Medical with an attitude. "Ok,Ok! I see your point. You are a small office and do not employ a medical stenographer to record results to maintain by way of appropriateness or necessity." said the worker from All-In-One Medical. "Then who does that part?" asked the worker from Yo-Yo Medical. "This is where your physicians need to evaluate themselves and figure out why they cannot delegate work to certain people without too much of a hassle instead of using their history and ancestry by way of being uncivil. Perhaps, it's because they know this accreditation is the foundation for them being in office or medical office and their psyche plays a part in who does the work for them to exist there. It may be that they want to be represented by people who are of that wine making refined culture. Which means, that's who they want to do this type of task or medical stenographic preparation. If they don't have that culture of representation, then it causes a problem" said the worker from All-In-One Medical. "Then what do we do?" asked the worker from Yo-Yo Medical. "Nothing. I mean they can hire someone from the outside to do the work to compile and create data based on what is requested. But that is going to cost them. Which is not your problem. If it bothers them that much on what level they are represented from then you can't do anything about it. Even if you or someone at Yo-Yo Medical can do the work. People are fussy about their reputations. It's the cliques and the memberships and the in crowd, culturally seed planters don't get the same gratis or respect, and if that's who is doing the work on that level; then it may bother people because of the demonstrated capabilities, as a result they will always find something wrong." said the worker from All-In-One Medical. " Yeah, it seems as though delegation of work is becoming a real problem and to do work that may be deemed for other types of people you know really consultant types or winery refined folk; the physicians may want other people to do this. So you're right, it's just best to say out of it." said the worker from Yo-Yo Medical. "It's their office and they make the decisions and there are times ancestry has a lot to do with it." said the worker from All-In-One Medical.
