Acidosis of the respiratory system is indicative of a lower pH and and not enough oxygen in and carbon dioxide out. This means that there is an increase in PCO2 levels or the partial pressure of carbon dioxide and that the pH is low or acidic.
The ABG test is a blood sample that can be obtained by taking blood from an artery. Arteries that can be used are the brachial(the area of the arm used to take blood pressure) and the radial artery located in the wrist. The ABG test can be used to detect the presence or potential problem of pueumonia.
The ABG test is more painful than a regular vein blood test used to check high cholesterol. Why would I want to subject myself to that abuse? Why can't I just wait until I get pneumonia and then go to the hospital for a chest x-ray to confirm it? Good questions, but you are using the same principles for cancer screening exams. Wait until there is a problem, and then confirm it by testing. Is there any other way? Lab work can be done via the veins or arteries so that the presence of illness or disease can be detected. If the levels indicate that you are at risk, then the body needs to repair itself through nutritional supplements. This is definitely a way to remedy the ailment rather than to end up in a hosptal or doctors office for a prolonged time resulting from not doing anything preventative regarding your health.
Lab tests that check the blood and the body's immune system through the leykocytes and phagocytes in the white blood cells should be implemented as part of a physical or wellness exam; in order to check for opsonizing antibody molecules such as IgG, C3b and MBL(mannose-binding lectin). The antibody molecules can be checked for the various strains of influenza, streptococcus pneumonia, staphylococcus, meninigitis and others. If it is found that the body cannot fight off varios strains of a bacteria or virus because some forms of bacteria or viruses have a capsule around them that consists of acids such as sialic or hyaluronic and also contain host proteins for example: transferrin and lactferrin that make the bacteria or virus difficult to get rid of; and thus if the body's immune system is compromised then it is unlikely that the opsonizing antibody molecules in the body will be able to fight off the bacteria or virus. If lab tests of this magnitude are done during a routine preventative care visit a patient will know if they need to take certain precautions against the flu or pneumonia. If they are healthy then they can stay on their regimen or if they find that their immune system is not what it once was then they have a choice to vaccinate or to supplement their total health which is more than just getting a few vaccines.
Now on to the more skillful part:
You have doctors, assistants, nurses, phlebotomists and the whole triage of folk with either a license or certificate saying that they can draw blood. The truth is, unless you want to be in a doctor's office posing as though the doctor or whoever; is drawing the Mona Lisa from you, then there needs to be a product that assists with these types of challenges and or difficulties. Why? Because people have problems finding veins, so imagine locating an artery to draw blood from. There needs to be a product on the market that is used to locate arteries in the body, preferably from the wrist or upper arm area that shows arteries that are good to draw blood from. This product can be a handheld device or accompanied by a stand so that a person can work alone if needed. This artery-locator is actually a light of luminol. Luminol is made of nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen and carbon combined with hydrogen peroxide and other chemicals. The concept of using luminol is to only show the areas on the body where arteries are located. Once this is established, whoever is taking the blood can clean and numb the area externally and then use the luminol light on the arm or wrist to locate an artery for use. Once an artery is selected blood can be drawn without too much pain or discomfort from making various attempts. So now you can have that complete exam and live to tell about it, with the luminol light for arteries!
